How do you pull off the no deductible?

I'm at roughly the same premium, but with a $1k deductible.

Since you're with meloche, I'm guessing Engineer?

I think the lesson here is that its pointless to compare insurance rates from province to province. Waiting for someone in BC to chime in stating they pay $800 per year on their M3.

TD has an option called bye bye deductible which is great. And i think TD has way cheaper rate. I called PC finance and ING yesterday to get a quote and they were 2 times more expensive

Ok, BC representation here. I wish it was $800. I think I'm around $2400/yr, with the max 43% discount. $500 deductibles, full replacement. BC insurance is through a provincial corporation ICBC - there's no bargaining or comparison shopping to be done.

All you guys at $1xx a month are so lucky!

I'm an accountant (we are WAY cooler than engineers ). Driving 23 years without a claim (knock very loudly on wood), have two cars and my house through them with related discounts. Also I have been with them for the last 15 years or so. I have shopped other insurers before and have never been able to find anything even close.

I guess the 23 years trumps my 10 years without a claim. I also have the two car/house combo though, maybe I'm getting the shaft.

As far as the accountants vs engineers go, that's a battle as old as time. With that said, we're all nerds in the end.

Do you live and work in Toronto? I have noticed that rates seem to be a lot lower if you are part of a group. My M3 is lowers than my other car (Subaru).

Kasimmmmm I'm also 27 and pay $114 per month, $500 deductible and no claims/tickets for 10 years.
When I was in TO my insurance was much higher but not surprising given that there are more drivers and typically people have to drive farthur to get to work etc.

Call a local insurance agent and ask him.You could try online web sites of major insurance companies
, however, I doubt they will quote you a business rate of a commercial vehicle like a dump truck online.

If you are in need of a BMW Insurance, this is time to look around and compare the rates of different companies. Before buying the car insurance, you need to think of the total number of miles that you drive each year. If you do not need a car everyday, then it is better to inform the insurance company. Most companies charge premiums for those who travel longer miles annually. You will get lower rates, if you can prove that you travel less. As documents, you can offer service slips available with refueling, and pictures taken of the odometer. This is only possible for a new model.

Same, but vehicle is for pleasure - $500 deductible, grand touring, vehicle replacement, and a speeding ticket. Are you an APEGGA member? We get a decent discount with TD meloche monnex.

FYI to all; I found a rate very close to this, without the APEGGA discount, by using www.kanetix.ca
Turns out that site is surprisingly legit.

Yeah, APEGGA member, that's how I got that deal.
