E93 VS CLS63 AMG 1/8th dragstrip

Hey guys,

My boss picked up a 2012 CLS63 AMG, V8 biturbo (7sp dct) and wanted to take it to the dragstrip. So I said why not. My ride is a 2011 M3 convertible 6speed. I knew I had no chance but it was still a good time. This was my first time at the track. The CLS63 AMG is absolutely gorgeous and amazingly fast!

He was consistently hitting 8.23 at trap speeds of 97-103mph.

If anyone is curious, I was hanging around 9.34, with my best time being 9.27. Overall I'm pleased with how the vert did, and at the end of the night, got to drive home with the top down!

Next time, I'm going to take my Cobb tuned 335i and see how it does.

Those AMGs are beasts. Sounds like you did really well.
