That's really bad if it is an SA calling because they know they don't have the car to sell...as you say, they just want to get you there and hope you'll buy something else. I got a vibe that the dealer is slightly sketchy and you really need to do your homework and double check everything.
There is a 2009 AW sedan at Faulkner Hyundai in Harrisburg PA. <19k miles, 6mt Tech Pack, looks like no roof or winter pack.

A little high but shouldn't be too much on the high side. A friend of mine had it for 40 OTD a few month ago. Don't all e90s come with sunroof.

If it was CPO, that was a bit high. If not, quite high. I bought my AW 08 E90 with the same mileage for 36.5, private party. All options except cold weather package, but it does have heated seats. Also moonroof delete.

What do you think would be a good price for this one, in your (or anyone's) opinion? I want to get into an M3, but if I can't find a really great price on a used one, I'd rather go new.

It's really amazing how a car is salvage and then you say it's just cosmetic damage. I'm sure there is more to that right?

I worked at Manheim for a number of years. 08 sedans under 40,000 miles still look to sell at the auction for 36-38k in good condition. You can expect a dealer to have that listed at AT LEAST 41-42k. That's where my car was priced and I got them into the high thirties. But then add a few more thousand if you want an extended warranty. Most likely a CPO car never went to the auction and you can expect to pay even more.

Private party is a whole different story. I'm guessing you could easily grab one for 35-37k.

Saloons never got the LCI tail-lights did they? I have never noticed a difference.

So you paid in the 30s for a 2008? That's what the SA said I could get a 2008 for...but I preferred the LCI 2009 tailights and CIC nav. You get a lot of car for the money in a 2008 sedan.

Too much. Should be in the high-30's.

^^^^^
I would have to agree

These cars are holding their value quite well especially the e90's. They are more expensive than the e60 M5's with similiar miles and years.

There is always the exception of course.
