Thumbs up Lewis Hamilton F1 Champion!!!!!

Well the last race is run and what a climatic end to a wonderful season. That final race was the most nail biting I have ever witnessed, only being truly known who had won the championship on the final couple of corners. In fact Massa's family and pit crew believing prematurely that he had won the title.

As a Brit I am very proud of Lewis and great to have the title return to Britain.

Bravo LEWIS

Congrats to Lewis! that was a great race. Really sucked for Kubica though. I was really hoping that he would hold his third position. Next year is going to be awesome! Slick tires, less down force, KERS and one extra track for the season! I can't wait.

I guess Lewis deserved it... but I wish it wasn't such an emotional rollercoaster for Massa, he's a good guy.

BMW better come up with a better car. I am sick of seeing Kubica and Heidfield placed in shitty positions during qualifying. And WTF was Kubica doing during the start of the race? He was still changing tires or something?

WAR HAMILTON!!!!
I'm no longer a Kubica fan, dude was lapped and fighting for position with the WDC on the line, and almost ruined it for Lewis, but it's not a surprise as everyone in F1 seemed to be on Massa's side. I would even say Kovaleinen was against him, based on his dismal performance in arguably one of the best cars on the grid.

I will say I almost died, watching that race, as I'm a McLaren/Hamilton fan, but it was a spectacular finish to an exciting season.

I completely agree that Kubica was a complete jerk...lap down and he blocks hamilton and allows vettel to get by...everyone is talking about glock letting hamilton by for fifth, but I think that this is the real story. I was excited about BMW and F1, but Kubica now leaves a bad taste, he should have pulled out of the line like everyone else when they came up on him. Still like Heidfeld though. Hamilton deserved it after last years folly. Massa is looking good for next year.

Kubica has complained about Ham's overly aggressive driving all season...

As a professional driver, you do NOT yield just to let someone win the championship. You yield if the person behind you is lapping you AND is faster than you.

A great ending, nonetheless. You won't be disappointed.

Congrats to Lewis anyway.

But I think real F1 worldchampions are from Brazil or Germany imho.

Not my belief but I did find it quite funny

The disbelief in the Massa camp was just unbeleivable and to see the range of emotions in 1/2 a lap was just nuts

Great job Lewis!

I bet you hamilton planned it out like that.

"Ok Lewis, he just crossed the checkered. Move up to 5th and lets party!"

I understand what you are saying to an extent. There's a time for everything, but when its the last race of the season, and you have nothing on the line, and you're a lap down......don't let your pride or "preference" decide the championship in the final laps with an aggressive move on someone that you have no business racing. There is a thing called sportsmanship in racing. Like many other drivers on the grid, Kubica made it obvious who he likes. Hamilton was basically racing against the whole grid, with no help from his teammate, while Massa had the help of basically everyone involved in F1.
