Well even without anyone's reply to my questions, I was able to piece it together and everything works great so far! Very easy and hopefully will stay trouble free!

I used a -R since that is what everyone else has been using.

I'm doing something wrong. I've made a copy of the iso using DVD-R and DVD+R discs, and I still get the message that the car doesn't recognize the format?
What are you guys doing to make it work? Do I need to do anything special when I put the disc in? . |

I used mac with Disk Utility.
Mount ISO file from Disk Utility and "Burn Image" to burn on the disc. Works well.

I did find it loads slower. Could be because it's not an original or because I use CHEAP DVD-Rs. That's why my right side screen mostly turns on to my trip comp instead of maps.

Here's the nzb for people that know how to use them. Please don't ask me as I don't want to tutor people on how to use usenet. This is a lot faster than downloading through torrents though. With my giganews connection I was able to download both discs in a little over an hour.

If you're using DVD-R and noticed some lag, try DVD+R. I decided to try +R after noticing some read lag and read performance is a lot better so far.

So you only use the disc that is according to where your location is? I put in Disc 2 and the navi doesn't show any roads at all. Only disc 2 shows the map and road. Is the interface or anything else suppose to change besides uploaded new maps? Thanks!

How much memory does a disc need to have to burn this file?
