I got the tyres from mytyres on the net. Came within a week.

Feel much happier with these tyres, considering the price.

My slick tyres are nearly bold, I would like tyres that are more suitable for the British weather, am I right in thinking PS2's are people's favourite?

also could anyone recommend where I could get them in London?

thanks!

Hi Donbona,

How long you been running those? I am on PS2's but with my new x-pipe fitted and everything else I am ripping up the rears something stupid!

Have you ran with them long enough to have been out in summer or when it's warmer, to feel the comparison running in cold & wet?

Cheers

i've been ringing up tyre specialists but all the PS2's seem to be on back order. To make matters worse the other BMW approved option conti sport contact 3's seem to be very limited in stock.....

anyone else can recommend any suppliers in or around London that I may have missed out?

There is no way im going back to cups - I think they're horrid for the english weather

Re the mention of Goodyears - I have to add (in my own personal opinion) that I'll never fit another set of Goodyear tyres to any car of mine.

The last 2 sets I had on my Audi S3 suddenly and mysteriously deteriorated to the point where I had several near crashes in the space of a few short days. And that was on an inherantly stable / uncrashable car - I'd hate to think what that would be like in a car like the M3....

Its discussed at length Here - apologies for the cross-post but it saves me typing it out again.

Hi Marcus.... in the summer they are great.... much better than the ones that came on the car... they are pretty decent in the wet too... I dont feel unsafe where as I did with the Cup's.
When I ordered my new wheels I got them to fit the PZeros....also bare in mind that they are much wider... 285s rear so much more traction.

Ah, of course yours are aftermarket wheels, I forgot.

My PS2's have been fine up to now, but with the extra low down torque I am now getting a frickin Micra could get off the line quicker than me in the slightest of damp conditions, well maybe not, but you know what I mean, roll on summertime
