Break-in service scheduled for next weds..! Been following break-in procedure to the "T"... Current update:

- Can definetly feel a big difference in the low end pick up, especially out of corners.
- The car actually feels lighter on take-off, like my e46.
- Crusing on the fwy at 100, the RPM is at 4k vs 3.5k stock.
- Averaging at 18.8mpg vs 20.1mpg stock.
- No whining/clicking sound as others have stated. Like stock...
- Throttle is jumpy crusing in 1st. More sensitive... Goes through 1st pretty quick... Have a feeling my tires won't hold-up...

Will update after the break-in..!

Damn after reading all this I wanna get one. What ratio do you guys recommend for a stock M3?

This seems like a no brainer. 15% more torque and the only downside is lower topspeed...id take that any day. I still have my limiter on so i doubt id have any complaint of capping off at 185mph.

How much is installation?

Whats the latest on your situation?

Any one heard of, or experienced anything similar on the diffs?

Also what are the maintenance requirements for the diffs? Dinan's website doesn't give those details. Dont want a headache.

Another option is Diffsonline. They build diffs for street thru pro racing applications. Also, they offer several different diff types and final drive options - I ordered mine thru BimmerWorld.

By "stock" do you mean NA? My car is NA and I decided to go with a 3.62 FD and a raised 8600 rpm redline.

Installation - around ~$500

Per my conversation with Dinan rep, I am planning to install the stroker motor so they recommended the 3.45 vs the 3.62 because with the 3.62 first gear would be useless, would not be able to get any traction...

Is like going back in time, back in my turbo honda days... The car feels light, and keeps pulling off the start...

With the "Benvo" euro MDM and the DCT flash the car is crazy around corners. I'm drifting around ever corner, and it keeps me in control... Gottta have the Euro MDM and DCT flash with the diff..!

I've been through Dinan Stage 2 tune, Evolve tune and now "Benvo" tune and I feel it is by far the best for the S65..! The difference is obvious, Mike knows his shit, hands down...

Hit up Autohaus Frankfurt in Temecula. They gave me a package deal with the diff, install and break-in service and it was about 10% more...

When i say "stock" i mean, no engine mods at all. I dont have a tune, pully, FI, or anything.

This is the perfect mod for me. I will get this when my bonus comes around.

Not the rpm, but accurate speed reading on the speedometer w/the deeper rear gear ratio?
