Get the one that works for you!Everybody has their own preferences!I went for a stick but might change to a DCT if I like it once I can drive one properly.

after having test driven the manual, i would say m-dct. the shift in the m3 is not that sporting, with the throws being kind of long. smg really made the last m3, as im sure the dct will for the new one.

If you get ^MT, make sure to get a VHS player so you can go old school with your cars and movies...

MDCT is like blue ray makes 6MT look like CRAP

6mt =

to each of their own.

M-DCT and 6MT are totally different.

just like vinyls turntable and modern CDJs.
modern stuff is efficient, fast.

but that doesnt mean the old stuff isnt fun.

my vote is for the Manual Gearbox. It's because it gives me more "feedback" and i feel it's more of a driver's car. that's all.

Thats cool i hope everyone gets the c63 and isf. It just make the m3 look more baller. I agree thats bullshit they are that much cheaper. But it was worth it to me because I only like real manual trans and i think the coupe looks way better. Cant wait mine get here in early june.

What are you used to driving? Have you had a manual before, or always driven automatics? Choose what you want, endless other opnions will not matter much. But, since you asked...manual. It's more challenging and will make you a better driver in the end. Just my opinion.

Get what you will enjoy driving more. I don't know how you can ask others such a personal question.

I test drove a 335i sedan with the paddle shift...next in line was the M3 sedan with the 6mt....Big difference. I think the 6mt gives you more connection with the car rather then the auto. I know both engines are entirely different but if you already know how to drive a MT...you know what i mean.

MT - it's such a sweet engine to downshift... driving a car is supposed to be involving.
