Climate Comfort Windscreen
**Updated**
Ladies/Gents, How many of you out there have the Climate Comfort Windscreen? My car will spend its life in garages usually... but have been debating the pros and cons of getting it...

i have no idea what you mean by comfort access windscreen if you mean comfort access (the option/feature). It is great, I wouldn't buy another car without it. Not a daily driver at least.

I assume you mean the solar control windshield (not sure what BMW's name is), not Comfort Access which is the keyless entry/start system. To my knowledge us Yanks don't get that option choice.

Here it is and it looks like a good option (depending on cost); although not available in USA, as far as I know: http://www.bmw.com/com/en/insights/t...indscreen.html

Mate I have it and it is a great option. There is a noticeable difference between the M with the climate comfort windscreen and my old 335 without it. The only problem is you need to be careful where you put your etag because it will not be read through the windcreen (there is a special location near the rear view mirror for it).

I just had Pinnacle F1 tint the windshield with the lightest ceramic tint that they offer and it works AMAZINGLY well. The car is easily 20 Deg. cooler in the sun then without it and my black leather can actually be touched by bare skin even after sitting in 100 Deg weather most of the day.
Visibility wise the light tint does not reduce my view at all, it actually adds a touch of contrast to everything like a polarizing filter so I love it. |
