Borla XPipe and Borla Atak Mufflers

Small compilation of my exhaust. It's the Borla Xpipe with Borla Atak Mufflers

Small review:

- Very small to honestly no drone for me at least and I am sensitive to drone. When cruising its very comfortable can have conversation and non intrusive. Did have a little more drone without XPipe and just mufflers, surprisingly XPipe got rid of that.

- Sound when on WOT is ridiculous and incredible is how I can describe it. It is loud for sure but a controlled loud in my opinion. What I mean by controlled is that it has a distinct tone that shows some engineering behind the sound.

Have had these videos for some time just put some old and new together.

so nice dude. I have an E93 with the atak exhaust. Picking up the x-pipe in a few weeks. Cant wait to install it.

Nice you'll love it. It actually gets rid of the little bit of drone mufflers have. Plus first ride with windows down you'll just smile then chuckle bcz of the sound.

Sounds awesome! I was dead struck on buying the Borla Atak rear section last year but I couldnt find a decent used one! So i ended up getting my Remus Race. They both sound very similar and I love it!

Thanks! Nice I was looking at the Remus too. Found the Atak for like $1200 at jegs.com and ordered it.

I can confirm the insane, loud at WOT, ridiculous upshift pop and downshifting thunder. Yet quiet and docile with a hint of an exotic Italian pitch between 1500-2500 rpm when driving around town. But race car roar when flying through gears shifting at 8400rpm. I know this, because I too have the same setup. There isn’t a day I drive it, without it putting a smile on my face when M mode is ON or off. Boom.

I've read the smell is strong bc of the deleted cats... Any truth to that?

If your standing behind the car yes. Driving the car or in the cabin I've never smelled it. But even standing behind the car it smells like a Man's car

How easy was the install? I have the ATAK exhaust and want to order the x pipe from Turner. Problem is I live in Va, so when it comes time for inspection i'll have to swap these, because I don't know anyone that would let me slide for an inspection sticker

Was pretty easy. I did it on jack stands but if you can get it on a lift should be really easy. I recommend removing the mufflers, then install the xpipe then put mufflers back. Not something I would like to be doing every other month but once a year is no prob.
