Unless its not available in Europe, or its included in one of the NAV or other packages, I don’t see HUD-Heads Up Display.
Guess that rumor is put to rest.

I'm guessing half of those options make it stateside, most will probably be packaged together.

Secondly, what the heck is the difference between Nav Business and Nav Pro?

From what I can tell in using freetranslation.com (text taken from the .PDF) -

1. Two divided drives for Audio-CD and Navi-gations-DVD (meaning its simpler to adjust radio controls in a dedication partition for only audio? without having to go into the main system?)
2. Expanded 8.8'' color screen (vs 6.5")

I'm hoping that the Logic 7 sound is standard since it is for the 335i.

South,

On that attachment. Are those all options? None of that is standard?

Right, none of that is standard. Some are no cost options, but options.

Best regards, south
NA will surely be different. We will definitely get many of these packaged as standard with every NA car even if it is technically ordered from your NA dealer with no options.

Amazing South - thank you!

I hope you don't mind, but for the US boys, I did a quick conversion of your pricing based on the 64% -to- 67% Rule .
[discussed earlier in this thread] -

I know we'll get some options pre-packaged for us in NA, but this would be a good price estimate of an à la carte scenario...

Size of the Nav screen, we got a choice between 6,5" and 8,8" here in Europe. The last one (8,8") is the only US-option

EDIT: I saw Southlight's post: he's putting the differences in the right words

I think we should get a discount on the ridiculous Dutch taxes due to the fact we don't do drugs and hookers...

Nice work, I was going to do the same, you beat me to it. You should have removed the VAT (just a tax) first though! That is significant.

But the 64/67% rule takes into account the VAT, no? That's how we end up with a US base of $57,254-59,938. Those are the base numbers originally determined as being the "best estimate" for the US pricing - see that thread YOU posted.

If I removed the VAT (and started with 56,006 - like South illustrated just before I did), we'd end up with a base of $50,368 base with the 67% rule - and we know that is not true. What am I missing?
