For what itís worth ... I worked out a deal on a 2018 GT fully loaded it was 48k, They offered me 37k on my 2013 m3 zcp with 40k miles. Ultimately I passed on the deal because I felt they were asking too much for theirís, and a couple other reasons .
Every dealership is different so you just never know how things will go down best of luck on your venture! Even if you donít buy one I hope you get to do a serious test drive I want to hear your impressions

Isnt 48k pretty much MSRP on a loaded GT? Hell I didnt even know you could get them that high but I was surprised when I just built one.

My car is an 11 M3 ZCP with 22k miles. I wonder if I could get 37k trade..

I got an 11 m3 ZCP bone stock 1 owner 34000 miles for $34500. I bought it private sale for that price but that was the exact price he got offered for trade in to the BMW dealer it was bought at new. I saw the paperwork.

That was about 6 months ago so I would say you should be at or just below 37k trade. At least 36k.

Yeah MSRP was 49k they took a measly thousand dollars off ... since The mustang was marked up So high they showed a lot for my trade, trying to make it look like theyíre giving me all the money when in reality Iím just over paying for their Mustang and theyíre giving me average money for my trade .

If you go to the Ford website you can build one for well over $50,000. Carbon fiber interior panels and Alcantara seats are a nice upgrade over the standard leather and aluminum interior stuff.

Wow thats crazy I had no idea.

If you ever want to look at another GT look down here in Georgia. They are 4k off on the dealer sites. So even with shipping you would probably save thousands but would have to sell your car private.

I really believe you should test drive a GT with mag ride and all of the goodies before you plink down the extra 10 K for a GT 350.The valved exhaust on the GTís is a great integrated feature

Have you seen the latest Motortrend H2H with the 18 GT with performance pack vs SS 1LE? The GT didnít fare very well on the track.

The SS 1LE is a formidable track car and whipped the Mustang by 3.3 seconds around the Streets of Willow.

But, the Mustang was 3.7 seconds faster (1:23.97 vs 1:27.67) versus a 2011 e92 ZCP on the same track/driver.

That SS 1LE is very impressive.

For me the main determination between Mustang GT/GT350 and the M3 was actually the DCT. I love DCT and it makes it possible for my wife to drive it when needed also.

When I test drove GT350 I still had my M4 and it didnt feel big at all. But when I got back into an E92 the first thing I noticed was how small it felt compared to the M4. So my point is big is a problem with the newer cars.

One thing that doesn't come up in these comparison's is that that OEM tire width on the M3 is narrower than the Mustang so along with being down on power, it also has less tire available... it should be no surprise that the Mustang is faster.

The 1LE runs 305s up front and 325s rear... not surprising it beats the Mustang.

Can't compare a test that was done on different tire technology as well as 7 years ago. That test with the E92 ZCP was done with a Contisportcontact 3, while the Mustang was on Mich P4S. The Conti is a terrible tire by today's standards.

The PP2 upgrade now shipping with Mustangs are going to go along way in rectifying this. The PP2 cars have 19X10.5 and 10X11 with 305s all around.

Also, anyone who has driven a E9X M3 with 275/295 tire setup with 19X10 and 19X11 will tell you on how the car seems to have unlimited grip, really transformed the car.

I did see that however for me no offense but.... i really could care less that a camaro is faster around a road course, just like a could care less that a m4 is faster than my m3.

These are all exciting cars to drive and the whole reason i started this thread is because i felt specifically the "new" 2018 mustang GT's are a great upgrade over previous years.... and i was interested to see what other people though of them if they had a chance to actually drive one. But hardly anyone has ( on this site ) as of yet. Oh well.
