As much as we're sure some of us would love to take such a trip, we are pretty packed up. Thanks for the offer!

i looked up detailing dynamics, they are in LI, NY. Seemed a bit pricey. $1050 for up to 60% of hood and front facia.

My brother in-law just went to Premier last week at their orange shop and was very pleased. He had his shield done at the dealership by some mobile guy and really effed up his car. He went back 3xs to get it redone at the dealer. Told him to goto Premier and the dealer paid for it since he was hassled so much over it. I think he did everything forward to the door.

Great job Premier and thanks for helping my bro-inlaw out!!!!

they are located in mineola New York

they have worked on every high end car you could think of
McLaren F1, F40, F50, Carrera GT, superleggera, ACR viper..... the list goes on and on, just walking in there is a free car show

I had mine installed there about a month ago and they did a phenomenal job could not have been better. I would not go anywhere else.

DD do great work. After my fender bender from a few months back I'm plannin on returning to get my hood+bumper redone.

Much better finished look. I'm looking for someone in Michigan or northern Ohio to get this done.
Ventureshield from what I saw is not very good. It yellows and leaves scuff marks. Pre cut kits are an even worse idea. Save your money.

I have a 3M kit precut installed by one of the best shops around. Even if the warranty is only 5 yrs, at the end of this time I was told bring it in for new bra and only pay installation. I highly doubt most people will even keep the car 5 yrs and even the people who keep it 10 yrs, don't you think it was worth it?

For those getting paint protection film applied, also consider the rocker panels. This area is a chip magnet from the front tires.

Well, look at it this way...you must be driving the car and you are enjoying it. When you get it repainted, have those areas protected.

Yeah it's my DD but the Autobahn has WAAAAAAAY more debris in it than any American highway I've ever been on. Sometimes it sounds like I'm on a dirt road...while doing 130MPH. Ouch. You can see why I wan to have you guys work your magic once I get the car back stateside and those areas redone.

As many have said, Venture Shield is the best film to use as it looks the best and is very strong. The one from 3M is VERY strong and resilient as it can practically be wetsanded and buffed out unlike most other protective films, but its very orange pealed and cosmetically not as appealing. Film, choose Venture 100%.

Installers? Well if you are in Southern California, go to AeroTect. They have been doing protective films for over 25+ years and 15 years in the automotive aspect of it. They are a certified training center for 3M and so forth because their install quality is that good! If you need pictures to confirm this, let me know I will be happy to share as I have taken 4 of my cars there in the last 6 years.

Best and most interesting part.... It's substantially better priced than the local competition and they can always fit you into their schedule, even if you just walk in.

This is a non-biased post. I have seen the work from many of the installers locally, even the one(s) which post on this site.

Cheers!

Since you are keen in pointing out that this particular company is such an excellent choice, we are compelled to note that the installation of the 911 was done by the company you just named. Please refer to post 15.

I know Premier is considered a top notch company for film and tints in the bay area. Are there any alternative companies people have had a good experience with?

I'm taking delivery of my E92 M3 early Jan. I'm in the bay area, curious what Premier charges for a clear bra. I tried emailing their sales addy off their website to find out, but no response after a week. Anyone have any clue as to cost?

That's what sucks about clear bra on white. Any slight discoloration shows really bad.
