I don't know... the C63 has some amazing numbers and its aggressively priced...
However my friend owns a C55 and that car was in the shop like every other week. He lemon lawed it and got an E55. He hasn't had any problems with it so far but he still wouldn't recommend getting another Benz. I'd probably get the M3 because it looks hot and is more race car oriented, but thats just my 2 cents. |

I was trying to decide between the two as well...and I decided on the M3 Sedan.
BMW warrantee can't be beat...and compared to MB...there is no question. C63 has the HP and torque....but the MPG on the car is totally horrible...couldn't get it good conscience. Plus the interior is much worse in the C63 compared to the M3. C63 also lacks many of the nice options that the regular C and E have...not worth it. If you are leasing, MB rates are much worse as well. |

M3 = light, racing car, great handling.
C63 = awesome V8 torque. But basically a heavy luxury car at heart. M3 has a much better attitude, when I see one I usually think that that is a person I would like to have a beer with. AMGs just seem more pretentious.

It may be nice but the M3 is more then a car. Its a legacy!! The M3 is an enthusist car. When you say you drive an M then people automatically think "WOW, preformance. You know your cars". IMO when you drive a MB people just think "Wow, must have some money" even when talking about the SLR. Just my thoughts though guys.

If you ask me, C63 all the way. That is, if you are going to be just driving it on the street, the C63 seems to be the best choice. All of that torque makes it a great daily driver like the 335i, but with seriously more power. Seems like it would be a handful and extremely fun to drive, as Clarkson described it as, "An axe murderer with headlights."
The exterior of each car appeals to me, but when comapring the C63 and M3 sedan, my vote goes toward the C63 for the more dramatic styling. Also, with the black birdseye maple trim in the Mercedes, the interior (with the non-dual hump dash) of the C63 appeals to me more as well. The M3 would be the better street/track hybrid car because of the handling and lower overall weight. However, I doubt the M3's ability as strictly a track car when leaving it with its stock configuration. Upgraded brakes seem to be a must, according to recent reviews. |

Maybe. More pretentious, BMW owners or Mercedes owners? I've met both BMW owners and Mercedes owners with questionable attitudes. A fair amount of non-Mercedes/BMW owners would argue that both groups are pretentious.

I like MB- their cars feel very heavy though. Hard to explain, but heavy for sure. That being said. C63 AMG

Have you all seen the interior of the new C Class? It's practicaly all plastic...
Also, the ride comfort of the C63 is not as good as the M3 for a daily driver m(stated in numerous reviews). Of course there is more torque, but if you shift the M3 higher up on the RPMs you will tap tons of torque....how much do you really need?!? M3 = Better MPG, Ride Comfort, Styling (IMO), Interior and Options + Lease rates for it are much better than the C63.... M3 = Sold |

The interior of the C is not quite up to par as a poster mentioned. Almost like the previos generation honda accord. But I could put up with that if it had monstrous horsepower and torque. And MB lease rates do suck big time.
