Red leather vs Black leather

I have an 09 with red interior and my friend has a 08 with black interior. For some reason, my car's leather is quite stiff and his is extremely soft. I wonder if the pigments play a part in this. I even use the zaino leather conditioner on mine.

Any theories on how red pigments make the leather stiffer? lol

my 08 with Fox Red is so soft...and it has been since the day I got it. I think its the softest leather I have ever felt..including leathers from very high end cars.

a good quality leather conditioner will also help with making your leather more soft and pliable. my favorite is the Leather Master trio kit available from detailersdomain.com
