Looks great! The stock HID low beam isn't 6k right?

I am a little concerned about how snuggly the new bulb fits into the housing. That needs to be a pretty tight/secure connection to avoid condensation inside the headlight. Was this just a single occurence?

mine are jiggly too since I had to trim the tab on the base of the bulb for it to fit in. I crucified my fingers! I received my new wiring bundle yesterday (Thanks Chris) and will be installing them later. I'll post up my reviews/pics when I finish the install...been really busy lately.

Its fine. The thing is a lot of after market bulbs tabs arent as thick so they dont fit super tight. But its tight enough to where there wont be any problems. A few of us have been running the kit for about 10+ months with zero condensation or heat issues. Ive never had a single complaint about it

I believe they are GP Thunders. They are definitely 6000 Kelvins though.

If you look closely at the housing. I think there's actually a big gap between ...... it's hard to explain, but factory I don't think it's an air tight environment to begin with. If I'm bored off my ass I'll take a picture of it.......but I probably won't. Single occurence as in just one side? Both sides were loose.

the bulb is not air tight from OEM, but the headlight as a whole is
but when you start making notches in the covers
the headlight as a whole is no longer air tight
and water into headlight = $$$$

No actually it still stays sealed notiching the plastic just allows the wires to get out without being pinched. The rubber seal that actually creates the seal stays untouched

WOW. Looks so good.

Why do you have a thick ballast for the HIDs? Everyone else has a thin one...

I pressure cleaned the front of the car this weekend. No water seeped in. The rubber seals are tight and the notch is at the rear of the housing.

Camaro, doesn't the HID bulbs get very hot? and could damage the lighting housing? or that isn't a problem?
