2010 Buick LaCrosse

The new Buick LaCrosse has been unveiled. Engines are a 3.0 DI V6 making 255 HP and a 3.6 DI V6 making 280 HP.

If BMW made the Aztek, would you still buy it since it is a BMW?

Who cares about the brand. If its an overall good car, why degrade it because of the badge on the grill?

Because most myopic pea brains are either brand whores who when presented with something good from ANOTHER brand will either:

1) Degrade the brand without valid facts. i.e - "Corvette is made by Chevy, they suck and will be rattling in 18 months, and the tires will fall off. My 335i's fuel pump has only failed 3 times and it was in the shop for only 3 days!"

2) Without facts, will simply make up lies to degrade the other brand. i.e - "The SL is still quite a bit heavier than the ZR1 but again there is no question on a straight line the SL would be faster."

3) Will result to flaming others personally who prefer said brand. i.e - "You probably get no pussy! I get pussy everyday in my 335i, and girls love touching themselves when they seem me pass by and hear my JB3 engine and turbos spooling!"

That actually looks REALLY good. Some Opel lines in there; the taillights are like the current 5-series and the exhaust is like the current LS460

True, it also resembles the New 7 series back

I'll go on to say the lower door area resembles the LS as well. People may not warm to the fact that they are underpowered relative to the competition's 3.5 L engines

I'd take that over a Camry or Accord any day. I think the latest GM cars have gotten significantly better over the last few years relative to their rivals.

What do you mean? The ES top engine makes 271 or so HP and the TL 3.5 makes 280 HP and the 3.7 making 300 HP is only on the AWD model.

Because most of us are CAR enthusiasts and are interested in design, trends, engineering.... and it does look like Buick is doing a nice job. I mean a direct injection V6 making 280 is pretty nice for any car maker.
