E93 Owners - What is the longest you have left the top down?

I live in West LA. The weather has been so nice, I park in secured garage at work and home, and I haven\'t put the top up for a week.

Just curious to see how long people have left it down for.

dude it's like over 100 here
too hot to put it down
you lucky bastard lol

most I've kept it down is a couple hours

I never park with it open...not after having a spider swing down from my windshield and bite my girl's leg and cause it to swell...

About a week. Rain or expressway travel with kids are reasons it has to go up.

Fwiw, I drive w the top down no matter how hot it is.

Sometimes, I do get bugs and spiders, but they have never bitten me.

Top has been down for almost 2 weeks. I count driving to and from in that calculation. Although I have covered parking at work I always put the top up when I get to the office (it must be the NY in me)

i would aways put the top up when the car's not driven. In my case since I have a E90, keep my windows closed and moonroof closed. You never know if some hater is going to come by and dump some trash or coke in on your seats. Also, i for one hate dust, and even in garages there are alot of dust that can settle in your car.
My garage once did some maintenance and whatever they did, put a layer of concrete dust all over everyone's car. It was crazy, like a full smooth coat of gray dust.

My top's been down for over a month. I only use car on weekends and once in a while at night during week. When I park it in my garage at home, I just leave the top down. I do drive into city once a week and my garage here hooks me with a great spot and takes great care. My car is the least expensive car in the garage. No worries.

Over a 3 to 4 week period I've only put it up to get it washed.

Do you find yourself having to wipe down the interior constantly with the dust?

top has been down for pretty much the past couple months except for car washes and when i am travelling with the golf clubs....this model is so nice compared to the E46 where i always worried about the 'plastic window' getting a permanent crease...

My e46 had a glass window, thats odd.

And yeah the tops been down for about a month straight. I have secured parking at home and work. Dust is a pain in the ass so wiping it down is no biggie.

Not really. It's garaged when it's home and I haven't been in dusty areas until yesterday in a soccer field parking lot or at my cabin in the mountains. The top stays up in those cases.

Some times it gets a lil dusty, but I park at home with the rear seat folded down so the seats stay clean.
