hydroxycut opinions....

anyone here use hydroxycut? i was thinking about taking it to supplement my diet. i've read more positives about it than negatives online, but i never can be too sure with supplements. my biggest concern about it is jitters...i'm not really a fan of them.

that's what i've been doing, but i could always use a little extra edge. especially in appetite control. i've been doing chicken and rice/green veggies with lots of cardio.

Use an herb for appetite control like Hoodia.

Try it. I've read that it works. At least it won't make you jittery.

Try

Acai Berry Juice or Pills

and

Grapefruit (Fresh)

A favorite way of eating grapefruit for those who may not like its somewhat bitter taste : Cut one in half. Do not peel off. Rub small amount of honey (organic type preferred) on top of each halves like butter. Put in oven on 350 degree F just long enough for the honey to warm up and melt into grapefruit fibers. Take out and eat with a spoon like eating ice cream out of a bowl.

New hydroxycut is crap. Purchase ephedrine and caffeine seperately. Take 20mg of ephedrine with 200mg of caffeine 3x per day. Don't start at that dose, thought. Start at half, 2x per day with the last one at least 6 hours before bed and see how you feel. You will build up a tolerance where the jitters go away, but the fat burning and appetite suppresant effects remain.

I don't know about anyone else, but Hydroxycut always made me jittery. All of that stuff does. If you're worried about the jitters, I'd recommend sticking to caffeine, a decent diet, and a good dose of exercise. Drugs won't do it all for you.

My nephew was a lot bigger than you, he was 5'10'' 260 and he lost 30 pounds in 2 1/2 months just by cutting out sodas and no snacking. He just ate 3 meals a day, and drank only water and flavor sparkling water. Give it a try.

I never really eat sweet or drink sodas anyway. Never really have. My vice is steak and mashed potatoes, fast food, fried, bbq, etc. Its all gotta go permanently.

Blake, i hope you know that age can make a big difference when it comes to losing weight. I'm 17 and ive lost close to 10 pounds in about a month just by eating a little less. No excercise(theres a reason).

And about the emphadime and caffiene, i asked my doctor and she said that it is terrible for your health. I know some will agree and some won't but what it does it increases your heart rate. It doesn;t take much to know that your heart shouln't be racing unless your doing some sort of activity. Sitting on your couch whilst your heart is excessively beating can lead to palpitations, seizures etc.

i dont think any of the store brand diet supplements are effective as far as burning fat...especially after they banned ephedra. I used to take the original hydroxycut when i worked out a lot in college and it worked really well. However once they banned ephedra, most of the products out there really stood out from one another.

Hydroxycut hardcore does work as far as curbing appetite. I dunno about burning fat though. Sometimes I got the jitters and other times I didn't. I would try it out and if you start getting jittery you should cut back on the dose. And make sure you follow the instructions on how to take it. I think it even says on the front to follow the recommended dosages.

Compared to the Lipo 6 with the "new" fat burning technology, hydroxycut hardcore gave a better result, but nothing compared to products that contained ephedra back when it wasn't a banned substance.

If you don't work out and think you'll lose weight taking any supplement, it's not going to work. But like you said, you could try it out on top of your exercise regiment and proper diet to give you a little help. Good thing about GNC is that you can return the product if you aren't satisfied as long as you keep the receipt. At least that's how it was. I haven't taken any of those supplements for a while now. I've just been trying to eat healthy, lift weights 4x a week and do cardio 2x a week along with a protein supplement.

Cardio is a bitch to do, but I think that's key if you are trying to lose weight. I give no props to fat ass people who rep over 300lbs on the bench and think they are the shit unless they are football players. In my opinion I think cardio is the key to loseing weight and lifting weights will help the process. But then again I'm no personal trainer so I could be doing it all wrong. haha
