Funny though, I was leaving at the same time as the guy in the Space Grey E92... an older gentleman, easily in his late 60s if not early 70s. Love that of all the cars he could drive he is rocking an M3, would love to see him ripping it up at a track day.

Oh yeah, also took the opportunity this afternoon to cruise with the sunroof open/windows down for the first time... damn does that V8 ever make some sweet music. The blast onto the DVP south (from Don Mills) was enough to put a perma-grin on my face today.
Yeah the dirty Jerez E92 was mineI put about 200 kms on it in the morning out in the country with some clients.I left the car there because I picked a new E90 335d to deliver to one of my corporate clients.Very impressed with the the 335d and anybody that thinks hybrids are the way to go should be forced to drive one of these to change their mind.7.0 L/100 on my drive to deliver it in Burlington!
Yeah my M is even more dirty this AM as I was out at a Daytona 200 viewing party and the parking lot was total mud.I am cleaning it this AM before it goes back into temp storage till the end of March.

Spotted a space grey E92 M3 parked on the north side of Wellington just east of Yonge at around 9:30p.m. last night. Car was sparkling clean and had factory 19s, so guessing it was put away for the winter.

I had the windows rolled down a bit and the sound of the engine was absolutely incredible.

Can't wait to get my 19s back on.

I am very interested to see and hear and exhaust mod...I personally love the sound as is, but could probably be persuaded pretty easy.

+1. Is next Sunday (the 15th) too soon for everyone?. Slammed - it "sounds" like there are a lot of owners who want to check out your car to help make their decisions on their own mods. I would also love to talk about setting up a day drive for when the warmer weather is here in April. Sounds like a Niagara / Lake Erie drive might be an idea if people are not keen on going up to cottage country with the bugs.

I am away on March break the following week, but the 28th / 29th works well also. Do you think the same format as last time works well - meet at a Starbucks? Personally, I would choose one downtown like the one at Liberty Village on King West that has a huge parking lot because it is beside the grocery store, but I don't mind meeting on the north end if that is better for the majority of guys.

It is tough to find parking there on any sunny weekend, regardless of whether it is free or not. Trying to get 10+ cars to park together would be a challange. That being said, there is a new mall on the corner of Leslie and Lakeshore Blvd E where there is a lot of parking and they also have a Starbucks. We could meet there and depending on the weather do some photos at Cherry Beach / Leslie Street Spit / Beaches / Distillary District / etc...

Lots of options.

I'm good for the 15th. Any place works too.

Not sure if I can make next weekend. Would love to show my car to anyone who is interested in the mods. Also, my car needs a bit of work and Im not sure when Im taking it in yet, I have quite a few things to do... I have a brand new Vorsteiner Front Lip to install, and while it is being installed Im having the front bumper repainted and removing the painted reflectors. Im also doing my brakes (havent decided color yet) and Im having the taillights done permanantly, because right now I have a strip of tint covering the turn signals. And I prefer to have that part just smoked with paint as the strip is coming up at the corners now. So I'm not sure if I will even have my car over the weekend because Im considering dropping it off this week sometime.

As for location, I think we should save downtown/beaches area for when its actually nice and warm out. In my opinion, we should do something in the north end of town. Hopefully closer to the end of the month.

Slammed - where are you getting your front bumper painted and filled? Cost? Someone took a nice gouge out of my front bumper (between the kidneys - odd place - must have dropped something on it) as a result will most likely have to be repainted. I would consider filling the reflector holes if not too much money. If you can let me know that would be great.

Okay - Lets go with Sunday March 29th at 2PM again, and hopefully you will have your car back by then and maybe even our summers will be on. Mark it in your calendars and we can pick a location closer to the date.

Collision Networks @ Jane & Hwy 7.
They do all my work, theyre a great body shop..bumper repaint is usually $350-$400, they are sending my bumper out to have the reflectors properly filled, and the cost of that will be around $150-$200, the guy doing it needs to see the size of the whole. Maybe we should do it around the same time and try to save a couple bucks if he does the bumpers together?

Yeah I would be up to try to save a few bucks (idea of losing the reflectors is appealing too) let me know when you are thinking - any idea how long they will need the car for?

They will need the car for 3 days tops, so if we drop it off on Monday we would get them back Wed afternoon.

Let me know what days work for you.

I think they are free this week, I just don't know if we should wait a week or two, I would hate for a huge snow storm to come, I would feel bad driving my freshly painted bumper and new front lip to have to go through that.
