I believe you can place your order via: https://www.circuitgillesvilleneuve.ca/grandprix/
Currently you have to call/fax your order in. In a few weeks, online ordering will be available. I've faxed my order for 4 nights with Grandstand #1 seating priority. Too bad Montreal is so damn far away from BC, other wise I'd drive.

My preference is to sit at the hairpin. I have tried the paddocks / turn one / and a few positions along the hairpin, and I think the north side of the hairpin is the best spot.
It is also relatively easy to access compared to some of the other areas. My guess is that we are going to have to move quickly on the tickets. In order to sit together we might have to buy at the same time. Duncan - if you are willing to get them for us I would paypal you the $$$ beforehand. We will probably have to firm up the list soon in order to get decent seats. Any preference on hotels? I like to stay within walking distance (or short cab) from downtown, but things do fill up early. We might even find the off place that hasn't jacked up the rates to $400 / night. As with the tickets I think a number of hotels require payment in advance.

I will tally the head count today and send the form off.I was told the Hotel st Denis was good and its right on the Metro line.I will try to bring a vehicle that can transport more than a couple of people. If Calabogie happens for us,I can leave the M in Ottawa and pick it up on the way back to TO. http://www.hotel-st-denis.com/english/index.html Tried the online booking but it shows it as unavailable ie call to get raped on pricing.I will try to call today.Maybe a Motorhome is an idea.We did that one year and that worked out great. |

I've lined up my tickets for the hairpin already (if you went in 2008, they will reserve those same seats for you). We are booked in at the Delta Centre-Ville on University near the train station. Not sure if they still have availability. Looking forward to it!

Just stay off island. You can go stay in Brossard, Longueuil, Laval or if your a budget there are some cheaper place but you'll have to drive 25 mins away or more.
