You won't see "easily north of 600whp" with a basic supercharger kit. Easily north of 500whp? Sure. But 600whp is generally the limit on pumpgas on a stock motor. Not just because of the rods not liking more than 450ft-lbs, but because you can't run much more boost on the motor reliably due to the high static compression ratio. And it is peaky as hell. And 'not much point going beyond 600whp in rwd' is a silly statement. Easy to go beyond that and still have traction no problem when done correctly. Nevermind that a 600whp M3 accelerates effectively about like a 500whp turbo car until after 100mph or so.
