Profile on 20s?
I have always ran 18 or 19in wheels and made sure the front had a higher profile than the rear
but I heard that on 20s, it doesn't matter? 275 30 20 255 30 20 I would assume you'd want a 35 in the front, or reduce the rear to 25? Or are 20s different? Thanks :P

Multiply the tire width by the profile (as a percentage) and that gives you the sidewall height. IE, the wider you go within the same given profile, the larger (taller) the tire becomes. In some setups, you can stick with the same profile for the fronts and rears due to the fact the disparity in widths isn't large (like 20mm). With other setups where the disparity is greater (like a 255/295 setup), you would go with a smaller profile in the rear simply because the tire would be too large to work (and the difference in overall diameter would be quite large). Remember, within the same profile, the tire is not only getting wider, but also getting taller.
For the m3, this is what I have gathered regarding 20" tire sizes: The two most popular sizes for the fronts are 245/30 and 255/30/20. For the rears, many are running 275/30/20, 285/30/20, and some 295/25/20 & 305/25/20.

We spoke tonight @ EAS... I mentioned my experience w/ this car on 20"s. I can't emphasize strongly enough to not do it.... in my experience the ride went from pretty damn good to unacceptable. Just my opinion FWIW...
