Question The Last MOVIE You Watched...?

Huge movie buff here!

I don't frequent the local Theater as much as I used to since I have 2 little ones and have invested over the years in a very nice Home Theater setup.
But I enjoy watching a good flick whenever possible.

With that said... Let's hear about the last movie 'good or bad' you've seen?

Superman Unbound (animated): Very well done! I love a good animated movie and have a nice collection from Marvel and DC. What I really enjoy about these comic movies are that the storyline and theme are more mature and graphic vs say something on The Cartoon Network.

Snitch: The Rock is one of my favorite entertainers and I will go so far as to say this was his best performance on film.

Iron Man 3: Downey Jr has certainly brought a certain swag to this character and franchise. Good movie. I'm all about anything from Marvel or DC.

Star Trek Into Darkness: Loved the first reboot and feel the same about this one.

I thought the visuals of the movie were great. Music was much more prevalent in the commercials than in the film. My wife actually commented on how quiet the music seemed. Like most recent movies, I found it to be about a half hour too long. I've fucking had it with these 2.5 hour movies. There's no reason for a Batman or Bond movie to be more than two hours long.

1. After Earth - 7.9/10
2. Hangover 3 - 6.5/10 (Hangover 1 was a solid 9.5)
3. FF 6 - 7/10 (FF 1 was a 9)

For reference, the last movie that I gave a solid 10 was Argo.

Now you see it- C
Iron man 3- C + /B-, had stupid ending with characters that can't die. Yet they suddenly die at the end.

I hate movies with illogical endings, it's like the writer is cutting the most important corner to wrap things up quickly

My wife picked out two movies this past weekend.

1) The Sorcerer and the White Snake, which was Jet Li's last movie. Jet Li is awesome, but this movie was so bad, I only lasted 10 minutes. I swear the white snake looked like a large sperm...and I don't do subtitles.

2) Moonrise Kingdom, which totally duped me. Having Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, and Bill Murray, I'm thinking Action/Comedy...but found it to be nothing but crap. How the hell do actors like this get talked into doing crap like this? (must have been some good money)

Due to this, my wife's movie picking privileges have been suspended for 1 year.
