Calling Vorsteiner and vendors
I heard vorsteiner is making a replacement carbon fiber roof for the e92 m3 and you can keep your sunroof still. Is this true? I know why didnt i get it with my car..... well i got my 08 at an awesome deal (200 under invoice and .9% and it was the only one i could find in the color combo i wanted within 1000 miles. Im sure i could put the oem roof on but how would i delete the sunroof without errors, etc. And im sure its like 4k

Why not just overlay your OEM steel roof with CF? At this point it's just for looks anyway since any performance advantages are lost with the weight of still having the sunroof.

I was thinking that..... What i posted above is real CF and it attaches with 3m adhesive tape. This would be a good option because even if you use a real CF roof and keep your moon roof you can't be saving more than like 5-10 lbs. Plus we all know someting like a roof once you take it off the seal is never going to be the same as factory. I wish i could of got my car with the cf roof but i couldnt find what i wanted anywhere with a CF roof. I think it would be a pretty good option because its easily removed if i ever sell the car etc.
