F30 handbrake fit e9x?

Hi, I swapped out my shift knob for the f30 cf performance knob. Now I want to match the knob with the oem performance brake handle for f30 models. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this and knows if the f30 handbrake cover and/or base ring for the boot will fit e9x?

Currently driving a 2011 e92

Is the shiftknob the carbon fiber version of the BMW Performance knob? If so, post a pic please.

i just ordered the shift knob as well and wanted to order the handbrake but i was in doubt if it would work. let me know if it does

nice! mine handbrake and shift knob have arrived, shift knob and boot are done and installed, maybe i will have more time to do the handbrake next week. looks nice!

bump!! I really want to do this now, haha. Were you able to use the F30 ring, or did you have to slot it into the M3 ring. Any idea regarding installation. Was there anything special you had to do or was it straightforward?

Yup, all of the E9X and F3X e brake handles are interchangeable, I have to double check the e boots though

Looks nice. But does anyone know if the CF color matches the existing M3 CF trim color tone? It is hard to tell from the pic, for some reason it looks a little bit more silver-ish?

I've done mine past weekend, it looks awesome! it fitted perfeclty, i had to remove the boot ring and reglue just like the shift knob but it looks like it came in the car.. ill see if i can get some pictures..

and the Carbon fiber trim is the same as the Dark carbon fiber trim it in the car.

Just FYI, my F30 performance handbrake does not fit my e9x console. As mentioned above, you have to use the plastic ring from the e9x.
