MCS 2 way non reservoir

Looking for feedback from those that have the MCS 2 way non reservoir system. How do you like it on street and track and what spring rate are you running? Also are there any vendors here that sell MCS?

Just ordered a set from bimmerworld, went with 700/1000 spring rate, car is going to be mostly for track but with a little bit of street driving includes driving to the track and back, will do a review compare to my current set up kw v3 with vorshlag camber plates.

It would be better to make a comparison as just about any name brand coilovers are going to be better than OEM.

We carry MCS, JRZ, Ohlins and TCKline Racing. Let us know if you have specific questions.

NRBRNG may very well be able to chime in with his satisfaction over the past couple years of ownership--I recently got an opportunity to go on a ride-along in his track-build at PIR; mind blowing.

just replaced my kw Clubsports with MCS 2 ways NR with 800/1000 springs. Gain a full 1 sec at Road Atlanta with initial settings, another 2 I think is in there once suspension is settled and I adjust.

Car feels much more connected to the track and like it has no play. Which I am having to get adjusted to, but am much happier than I was with the KW.

Car is a track only car but the adjustment are super easy to make between your street and track settings.

Bimmerworld was top notch is support and set up.

Depending on the particular set-up and driver, twin tube can be no match for mono tube, in your case the KW CS vs MCS 2 way. CS can use some help in the damping precision though, they are not all that great out of the box.

We actually had customers end up going slower from a double adjustable Koni's to Moton's 2 way reservoir, one with an E36 M3 and the other with an E46 M3, both with very similar suspension layouts. Like I said, could be the set-up or driving habits.

So you have to jack up the rear of the car to reach the adjusters?

non remote shocks have the adjusters in the trunk not under the car. very accessible.

No, if you use the double shear style top mount, the adjuster can be at the bottom. No need to jack up the car.

When standard E3x E46 E9x rear dampers are used, adjustment is through the trunk.
