Anyone know where the rear 02 sensors
connect to the harness? I have one bad rear o2 sensor and I need to replace it. I need to know where it connects to the harness, as I already know where it goes on the xpipe. Any help appreciated..
Dave

Hey Dave,
Which side do you mean? It disconnects about 10" from the sensor. Not sure where the harness goes after that. |

Do you think I will have to remove the exhaust again to get to it? I'm running Turner TPs. Dave

Yeah, what he said. It's pretty easy to get off, and there is just acircular connector with clips on either side, about 10" above the sensor or so, that comes off.

A couple of weeks ago, the SES came up and went to dealer. It was the bank 1 sensor 1 that was faulty. Charged me close to $800. F that! I'm taking the part to a local shop if the rear is shot.

I have experienced O2 sensors that are going bad swing in and out of compliance with the ECU causing the error code come and go. It was with other cars, but O2 sensors are generally the same.

Got the part and took it to the local shop. they switched them out, cleared the code. running fine for now. saved hundreds. whenever the SES light comes on, i think it's prudent to take it to Autozone to get the code. then, proceed from there. whether you wanna take it to the dealer(major issue) or just a local shop for something simple like O2 sensor, that's up to you but at least you know what you're dealing with.
