My feeling about vanity plates is that they work only if you dont make up (lame IMHO) abbreviations for words that no one really cares about trying to parse. So that rules out all of your options except the last one. The last one probably won't be allowed though, and plus it breaks the other vanity plate rule which states that complimenting your own car is a little too far past 50% on the douche meter.
How about simply "8400RPM"? |

Vanity plates that reference the subject car, it's performance, or its alleged superiority to other cars are dumb. When I see a plate like that, the first thing that comes to mind is not "ha ha that's clever/witty/amusing", but rather "oh look, a giant douche".
Just my opinion, of course. |

I would be thinking you worked for the Northwestern Utah Center for Minorities in Education. Or something like that. Actually not really, but I will reiterate how pointless the pseudo-abbreviations on license plates seem to me. Just MHO though.

+1, very nice!
That, along with MGINEER (if I was an engineer) and V8 M3, always make me second guess my choice not to get a vanity.

Of course, I didn't make up those abbreviations - BMW and the community did, and therefore they are widely known and accepted here. And plus, I would never use them outside this communinity, much less put them on the back of my car. |
