Secondary Air Injection Pump *delete*

Just wondering if anyone had done it here, and what experiences/issues did you have after removal.
Also what tune are you running?

I already bought the block-off plates for the 2x Secondary Air Injection Control Valves, and have a BPM tune stage 2 (which apparently inhibits the CEL for the SAI deletion).
The car is currently in storage cuz Canada, so any work will have to wait until spring.

Seems like a lot of work for no gain?

Or is this a racecar?

Might reduce oil vapor in the plenum. I am not sure whether a sticky or rougher surface impedes airflow at all.

Uh what? How would it achieve such a thing?

Was considering the same a few months back but a few people told me not to bother. Apparently the blanking plates are a bitch to install and there's basically no additional benefit. So I just left the secondary air pumps in there.

I get a CEL thrown on the dash, secondary air injection system insufficient flow bank 1 (p0491) particularly in cold weather. I thought BPM is able to disable the SAI with their tune?

I've removed mine (race car). PITA to do but had 0 use for it so it was removed. Running an EPIC tune w/ zero issues.

Thanks.
Was looking at finding ways to remove things that are of no use to me, and that can fail.

Definitely want to also find a way to run a catch can, but seeing as how the PCV system is designed on the S65, seems damn near impossible to do without custom blockoff plates and two catch cans.
