Custom tune for a Gpower SK1 M3

Hello Guys

I have an M3 of 2010 with the SK1 Gpower system. My car went on the dyno and the result was 460hp engine instead of 520...

I did some test one the track and the car seems to work like a 480-500hp max but not 520 for sure.

I still have the OEM exaust with cat, I am going to take a full decat Supersprint exhaust soon.

My question is, possible to find a tuner who can do a custom map on a car like this. A map ESS for 550hp kit can fit on my car?

We can tune it but I would first change your exhaust as that is probably why it's not making as much power. The factory exhaust is restrictive to begin with, especially on a boosted application.

Your dyno is perfectly normal .

And you have 500 Nm , right?

For the G-power you need to check the pipe that goes to the intake manifold, sometimes ist lose and not all the air is going to the engine.

The proplem is the fitting of this pipe to the manifold.

Thanks Mike, the thing is that the 520hp claimed by Gpower is with the oem exhaust.

Can you send me a price by PM for the Macht Schnell Race X-Pipe‏ and the tune

We don't carry that exhaust but we do have test pipes.

Remember that dynos vary based on many different circumstances, I wouldn't be disappointed with the numbers you have now. I've seen the same car vary by large margin on different dynos. These cars get way too heatsoaked sitting stationary as opposed to having proper airflow on the street.

I know for the airflow specially on M3 but even on the road and on the run track. Some cars with 520hp on dyno and 150kg (m5 V10) was faster than me...Even my old 335i with 540hp but manual gearbox was a lot faster so I think a better tune can do a better job here.
