The latest software update from BMW, usually is added in when you get your car tuned if you have not had it done at the dealership. I got the new update few months ago, was still running an older one and my RPM's dropped down to around 500 at idle.

It's the latest BMW software as of December. Gonna change out the O2 sensors tomorrow at AutoCouture. We shall see. If that doesn't do it... Back to the drawing board.

Thanks man! Yea, even Tom @ ACM is perplexed. He's the best so I have faith we will eventually find the root

Have you cleaned your fuel injectors lately? Sticky injectors can cause a rough idle. I'd try running a bottle of Chevron Techron through the next tank of gas. Either that, or pull the injectors and have them sonic cleaned and flow tested.

The injectors are brand new with the ESS Kit.

Well, the o2 sensors didn't help. But after further testing. It seems like injector 7 (which are new from ESS) is underperforming just a bit compared to the others at idle. So that will be changed this coming week. Frustrating to say the least! But Tom at ACM is determined to find the issue and co to he's to fit me in to do so. Very cool of him
