this has been extremely helpful thank you. yes my stock E46 ride was harsh, when i put in the JRZ it transformed the car and gave it a better ride but handled better. i guess i would look something towards that but may not happen
what you have for a setup sounds about right. and with the 18 inch track wheels it all makes sense now. the poor guys get 19's bc they can use one set for both lol thanks alot H Quote:

Yes, you are ignorant. You are sitting here calling me out like I purposely blew my motor. It wasn't the drivers fault, you don't know shit. My car was on the dyno when it blew, it had the wrong software on it. It had the Stage 3 software and I have stage 2. It has nothing to do with me, Gpower already took fault and they are repairing my motor.
I doubt if the tables turned and it was your car being down right now, I'm almost positive you wouldn't want stupid little remarks like that. It's people like you who make me want to sell my m3.

No ones crying. I don't see how a blown motor can be a joke, I doubt anyone else does except you. I want to see you drop over $15k and then someone sit here and say stupid ass comments over your purchase. It's not about your childish remarks, it's the fact that some m3 owners are so stupid that I don't even want to bother anymore.

For the op... I think it depends on who you are. If you are the type to go FI then by all means go for it, since you are almost there with the money.
On the flip side, you can't go wrong with most of the bolt ons. As for a flash/tune I think there is some risk... considering that potentially you can void your warranty in the future if there is something defective with your car.

It was just a little sarcasm about purchasing a SC... If that little remark on the internet makes you want to sell your M3 and not be associated anymore, then by all means sell it. But if I were you I'd try not to be so overly sensitive to what's posted on the internet

What does low cost entry level mean to you? I see $4000 kits for 350Zs and G35s. That is low cost to me.

It goes something like this: A part breaks and you take it to the dealer, who say's it due to the Dinan part/tune. You'll have to talk with Dinan. So you go to Dinan, and they say, "our part/tune has nothing to do with that failure." We can't help you out. This has actually HAPPENED to people.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

hmm that is funny it has been quite the opposite with me. with both my Dinan S2 M3 and my Dinan S2 M5 i have never had a problem and BMW was the one who fixed everything not dinan. only once i had a dinan issue and it was a seal on my diff and i had it fixed and replaced in a couple days. if it was a dinan issue the bmw dealer would of never fixed it and sent me to the dinan dealer.
i won't argue with you, maybe that did happen to people and that sucks i just know with both my past 2 Dinan cars i never had a problem and it never voided my BMW warranty. what you speak of i hope never happens to me bc that would be the last part of dinan i would buy then. at that point then if i am just gonna have trouble with warranty etc i mind as well buy another cheaper brand. but i have yet to come to that and like i said out of 2 dinan cars i only had one leaky diff seal sorry for those you know that had problems but 90% of the time it is coming from people who don't have dinan stuff and heard it from someone who heard it from someone who heard it from someone then by the time they heard it then it was a bad story. or it is from a competitor with sub par stuff. now i am sure there is some cases that you speak of and there are other tuners out there now that are as good. say what you will but they have been nothing but good to me and it has never affected my BMW warranty once. where friends of mine have had nothing but problems with other brand mods and trying to get stuff covered under warranty Quote:
