Installing an Eisenmann without cutting the OEM mufflers?

Hello all,

I have a question for anyone who has installed an Eisenmann exhaust.

Has anyone had new pipes bent and installed from the cat back to avoid cutting the stock mufflers?

I want to install an Eisenmann but I don't want to hack up the stock system as I can always put it back on if I wish to sell my car in the future. As everyone knows, you don't get your money back on any mods you do to your car but you can always sell the parts seperate.

Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

Would not worry about it. When you take the oem muffler off they cut right next to weld. The new muffler is bolt on, if you want to put the old one back on they just re-weld right next to the old weld.

You would'nt even know it had been re-done, it would only take 30 mins each side.

When I sold my old M3 e46 the buyers wanted the new muffler anyway, told them the car was $1,000 more with the new muffler because it was worth $2,000 when I bought it.

Once you put that new muffler on you will never go back to the oem one.

watrob is correct the install is very easy to reserve. We removed the Eisenmann Race off our E92 M3 coupe before trading it in for the E90 M3. The OEM system took about 30 mins to weld back on.

you dont really have to worry bout that. even when you sell the car, you can just weld the old mufflers back on. most people wont even bother looking down there unless of course your muffler has a hole in it or something.

One option would be to purchase center pipes to go along with the Eisenmann system. This will make the system a bit louder but at least you could do a bolt on install.

Better off saying what it does not have and that's a B&O Audio System, otherwise all option boxes are ticked.
