The only time I will is if I use my cables (which I built myself, made form 00 welding cables) and I hook them up... I seen the bad things that happen when someone has no clue what they are doing or has crappy cables...

I just tell them my battery is locked down in the truck and inaccessible. Which is 90% true.

I don't mind helping, but in my car its a PITA to jump someone.

sure y not last week i changed a tire for a old couple. and they gave me $10. i didnt ask for it or want it but it was a nice gesture though
