Change in 4th gear feeling?

So I was driving tonight and for some reason when engaging 4th gear it feels as if theres a little click before it actually engages where as in earlier 4th gear was very smooth. Tried at different speeds a bunch of times and its always the same thing. Its like something isnt letting it go in perfectly smooth. Should I be worried about this or is it normal. Only reason y i mention it is because 4th was always very smooth to engage and altho it still engages perfectly fine, its just a bit more rough. I thought as time goes by these things get smoother rather then rougher...
