m3 sedan vs boxster
had a run in on the way home with a boxster think it had exhaust done as it was a little loud compared to the stocker. dont usually mess with people but this guy kept hanging around. i have my new challenge x pipe in so i sound pretty healthy. i downshifted to 4th at 70 so about 4000 rpms and just cruised along. he had cut in front of me and was following a van that was gonna get over anytime. he got after it as soon as the van moved and i just rolled into it in 4th not knowing how much he had then matted it once i saw he was going. i was pushing up his ass and letting off all the way up to 110 or so then traffic intervened. kinda funny. never shifted. the beauty of 8300 red line.

im pretty sure i would still walk away from a cayman s or the carrera or boxster s with my mods.

Right... like bragging about beating up an adolescent on a playground. Really? A car with 100hp deficit that isn't made for straightline speed, on a high speed highway roll?

my car isnt a straight line car either and outweighs him by 400 lbs or more. and he kind of asked for it i was minding my business and gave him what he was looking for. i would own that tool at the track as well.

In a straight line, your HP will win. Just make sure the road doesn't get twisty. That's when the Cayman/Boxster really show you what they are made of. Sorta like the C63 and the M3. The old C63 would smoke the M3 in a straight line, but couldn't keep up in the twisty stuff. The Boxster/Cayman will spank the M3 when it comes to a handling course.
