Increased emissions warning?

Got a warning today for increased emissions and to service soon. Any idea what caused this? I'm totally stock at 10k miles.

Can I safely drive until I get it to dealer?

As long as it says that and not engine malfunction, it's fine to drive.

Have the error checked as soon as possible. Driving the car with the SES light present can lead to reduced performance and decreased fuel efficiency, depending on the reason for the fault.

most likely low fuel pressure sensor (code 2722) can cause a "increases emissions" light. I have the same thing, ordered a new sensor which supposedly should fix the problem.

How did you determined this and was it easy to replace?
I just went through the same thing and as my car is under COP warranty and it was covered with a deductible. BMW told me the sensor was about ~15 bucks but the installation was 1 hour?

Is there a code reader you guys recommend here?

Sorry I am a newbie on this car but I have work on many other cars myself. just not so shabby on electronics for this car.
