Hell, I thought it made plenty of sense prior to the edit. Sounded like his (now former) girlfriend was allowed behind the wheel of his trusy steed, and now said steed is kaput!

I have a mobile carwash guy that comes to my office to wash my car on a weekly basis. He waxes my car about once a month.

One day I decide to be nice and get my wife's car waxed for her. We switched cars for the day so I could take her car to work. I take her car to work. It's waxed. Looks beautiful.

The next day, we switch back and I take my M3 to work and call my guy to wax my car as well. After detailing my car, he tells me, "Your car was super dirty. I've never seen it that bad. What happened? There was grass all over the mats and I even had to clean up some chocolate in the back seat."

All that from just one day of letting my wife and kids drive around in my M3.

The irony is that it was MY idea!
My wife is petrified to even touch my car.

Although, strangely her favorite thing was how the FAT steering wheel felt in her hands. Should I be jealous?

When I was in the break-in period, I had to switch cars with my wife one day. I probably told her 6 times to make sure she babied it - no WOT.

When she gets home I ask her what she thought. She starts telling me how she smoked some young girl at a light. I ask her why she did that after I told her to take it easy. She tells me she never heard me say anything about taking it easy...sigh.
