Much smaller cars stuff MUCH bigger suspensions in without the need for flared fenders.

I guess I am wondering why did they not put the suspension in more?

just sayin

LOL!

Love it

WTF is with the dual exhausts and 4 exhaust tips!?

Other cars get away with a single exhaust!!!

Dude that would be a clever post if you actually had chimed in with a an answer on my thread that made it look like a simple question, however you did'nt and probably dont even know the answer to why the bmw M engine is actually taller than most if you read the thread I thought it was interesting comparo to the LS series GM engines. So while this could have been clever-it just makes you look even more lame that you have that much time on your hands to post on threads of mine that you feel are useless (why read and spend time posting?) and then taking the time to post an entire thread in regard to it---dude get a life!

Also your clever analogy actually was not too clever as the width of suspension and rear end track actually improve with width and the function is clear in a wider suspension and thus wider fenders.

With an engine a taller engine sitting up higher necessitating a bulged hood only worsens performance with a center of gravity up there-my point was not the stupid hood-was why the engine sat so high as to need a bulged hood.

You are pretty slow!

If that is clever than you must have a pretty dull life. But enjoy if it makes you smile!

Personal attacks are the best way to make friends and influence people.

All kidding aside I think it was just the phrasing of your post that struck a chord. You had lots of the types of responses you seemed to be looking for, and we can all sleep easy.

People ask me all the time "what's with the bulge on the hood on that 3 series?"

Come'on everyone knows the fender flares are there so the power dome doesn't look out of place. One of the most over used design features in the business.
