Blackstone Oil Sample if Dealer Changes Oil

As title states, Im going to do an oil change ASAP on my car and want to start doing Blackstone Oil Analysis.

That said, who has experience doing these samples when the dealership is handling your oil changes? TIA!

I service my car at Braman cause I live across the street from them. Just give SA plastic sample bottle and ask him to get you a sample of oil during the process. No big deal, I do it every 5k I change my oil.

Cool I live like 20 blocks away

One question though. Does the plastic bottle have to be of any specific material or does a fully generic sample bottle make do? Also, it is suggested on the Blackstone website that you take the sample from hot oil…. Do you handle this in any way or just let them do it on their own time?

PS: Braman fucking sucks

Just go to Blackstone website and request their kit, everything you need will be in there. Warm up your car before handing it over to the dealer and ask them to take sample half way into draining oil. Once you send sample to Blackstone they automatically shoot you over two more kits for future use.
yes they suck, but if you know someone things can be done and can't beat proximity

SA I dealt with previously is on a medical leave. I'm delaying my next service pending his return, I've been scooting around last few months anyway. Car is just sitting in a garage
