Need Help Deciding on 18" vs. 19" Wheels
Ive been searching for wheels for over a year now and cannot find something to stick with.
I canyon run the car about 1-2 a month and track the car occasionally, 2-3 times a year. I currently have stock 19's, but was thinking of getting some lighter weight, which has lead me to look at 18" wheels. Bottom line is that I need strong, just-as or lighter-than-stock wheels. I have been looking at the Advan RS (19"), Volk G2 (18"/19"), TE-37(18"/19"), BBS CH-R (19"), BBS LM-R (19") I seriously need help so I can get this ball rolling |

I've always thought about some TE-37's. They don't look bad on the car.

I'm going with 18s in a bit for weight savings and b/c I really like how they look in person.

Advan RS is Available in 18"
See this thread for Advan RS sizes: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=316894 . The Advans are pricey.
An alternative: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=314768 for Apex 18" wheels. They are fairly low cost and appear to be good quality.

^I'm pretty sure the Apex wheels are more of an e46M fitment. A friend of mine recently got some on his e46 ZCP and don't know if they'd look right on an e92. Just my .02

I just bought Apex ARC-8 18x10 square setup, about 19.5lbs per rim. I'm planning on running 275/35 all round.
They should be here tomorrow with fitting next week, I'll let you know how it goes.

OEM 18"
I ordered my E90 M3 with 18"s, installed H&R 10/12mm spacers, and had them powder coated black. They look, ride and handle great.....Very happy with this set-up.

That is an option as well. Never knew how ligt the oem 18s were. I though they were roughly the same if not a pound lighter than oem 19s.

I've got the stock 18zz and I love them.. It's a perfect color match too.

Watch wheel spacer width with OEM 18zz
One note of caution. I have OEM 18zz. Ordered H&R spacers from Turner, who recommended 12mm in front/15mm in back. Look great, but have had some tire rub on fenders in back. Turner agreed to swap 15mm for 12.5mm in back, so I'll change them out. Never the less, love the OEM 18xx on the E90 M3.
