Stealership rip off!
my brake light bulbs blew and i called BMW for a quote. Rolfe is charging $20 for each buld. ebay has them for $5. Its not the absolute amount but the percentage. This is crazy!

I don't buy auto parts on eBay. You can usually save 5 or 10% buying online from someplace like Tischer. There is a lot of junk on eBay. Not worth the savings.

You guys know that Melbourne BMW dealers charge $210/hr labour rates right? Crazy! I remember one oil service on my old e46 M3 was $700-800!!! Luckily I got the 3yr schuduled servicing with the e92 M3 though haha

Actually if the part is the one I'm thinking of, it's a $1.50 part. Even ebay is a rip off then.
On small parts like that dealers have to charge a few bucks on top of the actual price because the labor to just deal with you ordering the part from them is probably $5 and then to keep it in stock in their warehouse probably involves another $5 of labor and the price of keeping it on their limited shelf space in terms of rent and then the part is $5 shipped from BMW so right there you have the dealer paying $15 just to keep this on hand for you.
