My 13 M3 Coupe is ordered... let the sleepless nights begin !

I decided after 2 years and 8 months it is time to part ways with my beloved z06.

I have had very random selection of cars over the years
-96 nissan 240sx
-01 infiniti i30t
-03 acura TL-typeS
-08 infiniti g37s coupe (6speed) (hence the username that stuck with me)
-06 Viper SRT-10 Convt
-06 BMW 750Li (worst car I ever owned, it was in the shop every week for 6 months until i sold it)
-06 infiniti M35X
-08 Infiniti m35x
-08 chevy z06
-numerous streetbikes

The z06 was the car I held on to the longest, it was awesome.. refined when necessary yet awesome power when needed ..

now she is sadly going goodbye ..

on to the m3 coupe

October build (so november delivery hoping it gets sped up )

13 m3 coupe

-alpine white
-red fox interior
-carbon leather trim
-competiton package
-premium package
-6 speed manual
-sirius
-heated seats

I can't wait !

I leased this which isnt the norm for me cause normally I buy but I got a great lease deal

I am going to put an exhaust on it , intake, probably stage 1 dinan tune

I narrowed down my exhaust choices to eissman (sp?) race or miesercraft GT2 (sp?)

I will be watching many soundclips to figure out which one i like better

I Love that throaty, european exotic exhaust sound !

You'll definately need to drive it differantly than the Z06 to enjoy the power, but it is an absolutely phenomonal car! Congrats on your order and welcome back to BMW. Sorry about your 750Li experience. Not really representative of the brand, although 7 series are probably the most expensive BMW to maintain per Mike Miller (BMW CCA Club Magazine mechanic). Since I mentioned the CCA, I strongly recommend you join the BMW CCA. In addition to parts discounts, for about $40 a year, you get a great magazine and opportunities for track days and what not. Definately a no brainer.

yeah I see it is a high revving car assuming i need to rev it up more to get more power... its all cool though cause i ride streetbikes and they rev to like 15k so i am used to having low end bog too like 1-2k

yeah I will look into signing up thanks for the tip man !

Another benefit of the CCA is that after you are a member for a while, you can get rebates on new or CPO BMW purchases. I was able to negotiate fully on the price. Then after the purchase, sent in the rebate form and got a check for $500 a month or two later!
