GTR advantages over the E92 M3

1. More Power and Torque

2. Better Handling

3. For me IMO it looks better and more aggressvie than the M3

4. Better Fuel Economy I was able to get close to 19MPG city driving using the Snow mode and Comfort Mode.

5. Power gains - With just a Midpipe, Catback and 1000cc Injectors and a Cobb Pro Tune will yield 570whp and 580wtq on 91 Pump Gas.

6. The Thrill of launching the car when it hits 60mph in just 3 seconds.

7. From Dick Magnet to Dick Tractorbeam this car gets a lot of attention where ever you go.
haha, awesome.

congrats - I agree that the GT-R's look fantastic.

Too true. Most women don't seem to care about cars in the same way we do. To most women, M3 = 328i and GT-R = rice rocket. I guess the lesson is, getting a hot car will not get you hot women.

+1 she notices whether there are 2 or 4 doors but nothing else. I have a 335 and she has no idea why an m3 is 'so much more money for the same car'.

oh fawk.. your ride is freakin sick... just perfect...

I know bro... the M3 looks freakin amazin... Funny cause i work at a place where i park next to a GTR and most of them just adores my car more than the GTR... I agree though that the GTR is not pretty... but for some reason its just something i want i guess... Maybe cause i had my car for 4 years... and im getting to the point where i need a new car or something different.

I think the GTR just doesn't photograph as well as an M3. I just sold M3 which people would gawk over all day long but parked next to a GTR. The GTR just looks so a lot more impressive. It's rare that I see a GTR picture I like but they look great in person.

Thanks man. I know what you mean about getting something else (been there, done that, got the tshirt)....and for the money the GTR is nearly impossible to beat. I also agree with the other person that said that they look better in person. I just did not care for the mechanical noises the car makes. Just personal preference. There is no denying the performance of the car.

This is fact. Unbelievable how they hold their value. Never seen anything like it.

With the perfect wheels and small mods, Gt-r does look better than m3 IMO. My friend has a white one with DBK BBS-Lm's. IT IS CLEAN. As far as girls r concerned, bmw is a bmw no matter 3 series or m3 and nissan is a nissan no matter z or gt-r.

just took one out at a local dealer; really a blast to drive and I would love to pick one up; however even doing maintenance myself it still is alot, and I'm hesitant to pick up an 09 w/ only one year remaining on the 5/60 warranty.

The resale is insane on these cars.
