Good morning.. today I am on my way to Evolve to have my Akrapovic exhaust system installed along with a remap and air filter.
I will take some pics as long as the guys at Evolve have no problem with it.

Ok guys had the Akra installed along with a remap and BMC air filter.... the results were amazing..after they installed it dyno'd at 454.9 bhp!!
Here are a few pics... not great but will add more.
By the way it sounds awsome... like a supercar!!
Thanks to all the guys at Evolve.. Imran, Sal and Sultan... very professional, I highly recommend!!

459 brake horsepower sounds WAY too high. Most M3's are baselineing at arounf 320-330. Are you sure it is not 359? That would make sense.

That could be the number at the crank and not the wheels.

I just saw that you were in England which explains why you said 459 HP. I seriously doubt that the car would put down 459 RWHP. When you show us a picture of a Dyno it would be nice to know what RWHP the car is putting down compared to stock and what the actual gains were.

Congrats any ways on the new exhaust and tune

Sorry guys I made a typo with the bhp it was 454.9... and yes it is at the flywheel.. not sure what it is at the wheels. I will have to ask Evolve.
I will scan a pic of the dyno shortly.

hey, I just got mine installed today, and there seems to be this burning smell, I never had a titanium exhaust on my cars before so I'm not sure if it's normal...this burning smell isn't the same as your regular stainless ones..but I'd imagine it's the anti-seize and other chemicals on the exhaust?

That smell should go away. Other then the smell how does it sound and did you feel any performance gains?

Its good to wipe the whole exhaust down with like wd-40 when ur done just so u can get all the hand grease residue left from the install. I saw when Akara had his installed and this is what they did. If ur a picky person this will also allow alll the titanium to burn the same and not have any like black grease spots on it. This should also help with the burn smell, thats prob. what causes the smell, regardless it will go away.

I made sure to wipe mine down with penetrating lube, and it all looks perfect. It is a few minutes of my time that really make things look great. To not do it would be lazy. I have no burning smell at all.
