As a former 07 STI owner, if you want to sell it, you'll have to lower that price.

I really want a 2005-2007 STi for a dedicated track car....as do a lot of people out here in SoCal as many of these STi's are pretty beat up by now. Wish you were closer.

Good luck with the sale!

I had an 05 and that started the addiction. These cars are one of the most fun cars to drive. I put on the regular WRX wing and took off the big ugly one.

The 06's and on are even better IMO.

a bit tough selling a STi on a M3 local forum, have you tried NASOIC, EvoM, or the cars for sale part of e90 post?

NASIOC is going to be your best lead. Didn't get any hits off autotrader, craigslist, etc. Everyone who looked at my car was from NASIOC.

yep, I sold my old Evo on EvoM. Go where the enthusists are, and they will value the car higher than a marginal buyer. My buyer didn't even attempt to negoitiate, just took my price and got the deal done with no delays or tire-kicking...

OP I would still post on the Cars for Sale/Wanted seciton of E90post. I can see 328 and some 335 owners moving to a STi

Ha! Same thing! I had a guy come with two of his friends (both highly modded STIs) to check out the STI. The guy test drove it with his buddies and after talking with them, offered me full asking price.

A good detail wouldn't hurt in selling the car as well... shiny paint sells cars.
