Best regards, south
So with a VAT form its just over 4,000 euro. Hmmm....

Care to share the name of the retailer?

This is not to start an argument or oversell the brand, just to let the BMW community know that this company is very good at managing exhaust flow. The build quality is exceptional. I am fairly excited that they may enter the car arena, and will look forward to what comes out.

Based on their pricing in the motorcycle arena, I would guess that this will be an upper end product in terms of pricing.
Definitely. They are one of the premier exhaust tuning companies in motorbikes. I had the full race Ti system on my R6 and the quality was top notch. It's nice to have a new manufacture join in on the fun. Especially one with proven research, and manufacturing experience.

+1 on being excited.

Just to highlight what others have said, I have Akro exhaust on my KTM super Duke 990. It is absolutly beautiful, fit perfectly and sounds amazing. My bike sets off car alarms

I would put this on my car in a second. I asked my local bike shop (full akro dealer) if they knew anything about getting one, and they were pretty sure they'd be order them beginning in Jan. GIMEE!

Just a little FYI

I'm interested. I have a full Akra system on my R1200S. Supposedly BMW Motorrad shares engineering with Akrapovic for development purposes.

The R12S system cost a small forture... Fits great, runs great, sounds great, but was far from cheap.

The Akra system on the HP2 Sport shown in this picture retails for $4-$5K!! (granted, world market is very small on HP2S upgrade exhausts)

They make THE BEST motorcycle exhausts, so I'm sure these will make some awesome power and sounds unreal.... Kinda wish I would have waiting. Though I'm sure price is through the roof! Always is with those guys...

False. Just to name a couple, Sato Racing and Ladybird make WAY better quality systems for bikes. But yes Akros are definitely up there in quality, but I wouldnt say they are the best.

A full system for a R1 costs a arm and a leg, and Im pretty sure the M3 pricing is going to be nothing short of brutal.

Yup, I have a bike too. I might have a bit of a problem You can see the Akro pipes in the pic, even though the pic really sucks. The two Harleys in the back aren't mine, my boyfriend likes american Iron. We have very different tastes.

Anyhoo, to keep from Jacking the thread to much.......I would expect the Akro M3 exhaust to be very expensive. The one on my bike is all Ti, but ran $3200

Thanks a lot South. Looks like 4,950 for complete system and 2,980 for the slip-on system (+3 HP, + 4 Nm, -14.5 kg)

Wessling is only about an hour and a half for me, I might head down there to get more info.

I am seriously considering this now.

Here are a few more pics of the system and, most importantly, the dyno (taken from the vendor link which Southlight provided).

that is if you have same scaling for both torque and horsepower, with that said I am still clueless on how they produced those power figures...perhaps it is somehow displays power calculated at the crank

Nice Super Duke, but I prefer my Triumph Speed Triple with the Mivv GP pipe:

Okay back to M3 talk.
