In the summer every trip...it only adds MDM, everything else is already set to what I want.
In the winter not so much.

I've had my car for a few days now and I have not used the M button once. I do not intend on using it for few hundred miles. (Unless an x1 pulls up next to me and wants to race).

Totally serious about the first part.

I use the M button every time I drive it in the hopes that it will make the car feel faster, although it doesn't seem to do much...

After getting the DCT tune from Mike Benvo, I never dip into the M-mode unless I am on the back roads wanting to have some fun.

Haven't for a couple of years. The roads od MD and DC doesn't call for it. I have plenty of response and performance in daily mode.

My sentiments exactly! I have a 1992 civic cx that gets roughly 45-50 mpgs. I could care less what mileage my m3 gets
I daily drive and dont care for it. There is no way im getting into an EG civic after driving this car

Dont care if it did 100mpg.

M mode programmed when car started. Like the throttle response and seem to get faster, more precise shifts (6MT).

I use to use "M" everyday until Evolved tuned my Servo in non "M" mode to my liking, so I don't even bother pushing it anymore and mainly press it when I want to experience launch control in one step (settings: Power=ON, DCS=OFF, DCT=S6).

I don't have it set to MDM (I have mine coded for the Euro MDM) because I find it rather useless; Euro-MDM will still kick on DSC at WOT in 2nd gear starts. If I want to go ape-ish crazy around corners, DSC will be completely off. I don't push my car through street corners quick enough to spin with DSC off, I'd rather not pin my car against a tree.

Along the same lines - Im curious to know how many people drive with throttle set to sport/sport+ with 6MT compared to DCT. On my 6MT I rarely change the throttle setting from normal since it is much less linear and more difficult to shift smoothly in sport modes. But if I had the automatic I would venture to say I would use the sport settings more often for throttle.

Throttle and steering set to normal in M mode. I use M for the stiffer suspension

Lol haven't ya ever heard the expression, "sweet wouldn't taste as sweet without the sour"

I mean I'm all about driving the M, but my commute is 20 miles of traffic which I just detest. So let the civic take the abuse and the m3 enjoy my attention on the weekends

For me the M button really doesn't do much. I already drive in S4, Power on. Don't get me wrong I still push it when i merge on the highway or get on it but it does not really do much since I don't have EDC.

I would call sitting in an EG in traffic a beating

I get it up to temp and then everything goes full race unless conditions are poor, traffic is heavy, or I'm feeling like relaxing. AFter full warm up generally I redline every reasonable chance I get.
