Anybody notice their comment about weight? They're saying 3,649 lbs... I thought the E92 M3 weighed in at 3,483 lbs without driver?
Good read nonetheless...

How is that a mean comment? Far from it. Thanks for making things up.
So it's a problem I am well traveled in M3 media? You sure you're on the right board?

M3 weight
Weight is still up in the air. If you deduct 68kg driver, 90% fuel and 7kg luggage from the Euro weight you get something under 3,400 lb. "unladen". We'll have to wait and see what BMWUSA quotes it at.

Apparently, BMW told the testers 3,649 pounds for American versions. Car & Driver did their "in the field" corner weighting, and came up with 3650. We'll see what the U.S. announcement brings, though barring some pretty big changes, I'm already ticked off. That's 235 pounds more than the E46, which was already porky - and that car was 235 pounds heavier than the E36, which in turn was around 300 pounds heavier than the E30. Nasty stuff, weight. I've got that problem myself. Bruce |

Seems like you have a problem with Epacy!? As Swamp already said in the other thread, Epacy is very useful for the board. However the benefit of insulting other people isn't quite apparent to me.
So please calm down and start participating the discussion about M3... Best regards, south |

Well I guess they tested the euro cabrio RS4 because the US RS4 weighs much closer to 4000lbs, accentuating the weight difference between the M3 and RS4.
Interesting read. Can't wait for US tests of the M3 |

A simple solution to this bickering is... If you dont like someone just stick them on your ignore list.... no fuss no muss
Some complain about reposts or worthless threads, but these infighting posts take up a darn good chunk of space as well... |
